Catalyst Baseball Academy

We set these trips up so that parents do not have to attend. Parents are more than welcome to attend, but we will have all of the logistics covered for athletes such that parents can send them on the trip on their own.

The tournament game schedules are not posted yet - we will update everyone as soon as we know the game times. We were able to move the 16u ASU Team Camp to Friday evening so athletes will not have to fly out on Thursday.

A couple of important reminders:

• We have hotel rooms for all the athletes (they will stay in rooms with their teammates) - and the coaches will all be staying at the same hotel.
• That said, if parents are attending the trip and any athlete would prefer to stay with parents or family - we are just fine with that.
• We also rent 12-passenger vans and will take care of all transportation for athletes that are staying in the team hotel with us.
• All of the hotels and van rentals are covered by the team fees.
• ***REMINDER: You are responsible for booking your athlete's flights - we do not include this in the team fees because very often families prefer to use miles or points they might have. For this reason, you are not obligated to be on the coaches' flights. You can choose whatever airline and flight times work best for you.

Senior All-Academic Tryout: Thursday, October 1, 2026

@ Peoria Sports Complex – Mariner Side

The Senior All-Academic Game Tryout is for baseball players who have NOT yet committed to play at a 4 year college or university and have registered to participate in the tryouts to be held the morning of Thursday, October 1, 2026.

Players will have the opportunity to tryout in front of the selection committee and college coaches. This is a BBCOR event. Upon completion of tryouts, selected players will be named to the Senior All-Academic Game that evening, October 1, 2026.

Application Fee: $349

Open only to players graduating in 2027 who have NOT verbally committed to a 4 year college.

Academic Game Requirements: (Must meet at least one):

• 3.7 GPA
• ACT score of 27 or higher
• SAT score of 1200 or higher

NEW FOR 2026: Two-Way Player Option (+$150): Two-Way players will complete their full position player workout first, then throw their bullpen at the end for Pitching portion.

Application Deadline: September 13, 2026 (or when positions are full)

Refund Policy: The application fee will be fully* refunded to any applicant who does not qualify or receive an invite to the Academic Tryout. The fee paid is to attend the tryout. Refund requests must be submitted by September 15, 2026. No refunds after September 15. (* PayPal fees are non-refundable)

Check-In: All players will receive a numbered jersey at check-in, which will be used to identify them throughout the day. Check-In will be available and encouraged on the evening of September 30th at Peoria Sports Complex from 6-9 pm. If you cannot make the early check-in time, you will be able to check in the morning of the event.
