How are players going to enhance their performance on the field if they never learn how to properly do a body squat or push-up?
Most youth baseball and softball players only work on specific skills for their sport. What the players and parents don’t realize is many of them lack the basic strength and body coordination to perform at the highest levels both on and off the field.
Many players will be starting high school soon, where they WILL be participating in strength training with their new team. If they don’t know how to do basic movements properly, they will be behind the curve and potentially risk injury.
Program details below.
We hear it all the time: “I don’t want my kid to work out yet… I don’t want it to stunt his growth.”
This is a MYTH!
What WILL stunt your kid’s growth: poor nutrition habits, bad posture and a lack of activity, i.e., sitting on the couch watching TV or spending hours on their cell phone. The human body evolved to move, we are designed to be active. In fact, children can improve strength by 30% to 50% after 8-12 weeks of a well-designed strength training program suitable for their age group and experience. We have seen vast improvements with our athletes in our current summer program focusing on strength, plyometrics, agility and most importantly, proper technique.
Catalyst Fitness is looking for a maximum of 16 dedicated young athletes who want to learn more about exercise and nutrition, how to build muscle, improve coordination/agility, and reduce injury.
ARE YOU READY TO PASS THE COMPETITION?

See what others have been saying about Catalyst Fitness:
“George loves Coach Corey’s strength and agility training sessions, even though he’s totally wrecked after each one! After about six weeks he’s definitely stronger and is able to hit bombs to the outfield more consistently with the added strength. His sessions have been challenging but super fun for the kids and they’ve learned a wide variety of training techniques and exercises that will hopefully become workout habits for life” – Beth
“Hi Corey, I just wanted to thank you guys for helping with the workouts this winter and spring. As you know, Nolan has really taken to the workouts and is craving getting in there as often as he can every week. A lot of him wanting to get in there has to do with you, JT, and Rob and how you guys each can relate to and make it fun for the boys. You each have a unique way of relating to the kids that gets the most out of them while also keeping them focused on form and proper technique.
I have noticed how much stronger and confident Nolan is on the field this year. Hes throwing the ball harder and hitting it harder as a result of all the work in the off-season. All of the instructors at Catalyst do a great job with the boys and I thank you guys for being there for them! I’m glad we decided to build the strength/conditioning program into our off-season plan and I would recommend it to any kids wanting to improve their performance on the field. Thanks so much!” – Ben
